
To visit Azerbaijan, Pakistani citizens generally need a visa. The most common way to obtain one is through the e-Visa system, which is a streamlined online process. Alternatively, visas can be obtained through the Azerbaijani embassy in Islamabad.
E-Visa Application Process:
- 1. Eligibility:Check if your purpose of visit (tourism, business, etc.) is covered under the e-Visa program.
- 2. Online Application:Go to the official Republic of Azerbaijan Official Electronic Visa Portal and fill out the application form, providing details like your passport information, travel dates, and accommodation details.
- 3. Upload Documents:You’ll need to upload a scan of your passport’s information pages and may need other documents depending on your purpose of visit.
- 4. Payment:Pay the required visa fee online using a credit or debit card.
- 5. Receive your eVisa:Once approved, the e-Visa will be sent to your email address. Print a copy and present it along with your passport at the border security.
Requirements for Pakistanis:
- Valid Passport: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay in Azerbaijan.
- Personal Information: Provide accurate details about yourself, including full name, date of birth, nationality, and contact information.
- Travel Details: Specify your travel dates, purpose of visit, and where you will be staying in Azerbaijan.
- Accommodation Details: Provide information about your hotel or host in Azerbaijan.
- Visa Fee: Pay the applicable fee online.
Important Notes:
- Ensure your passport has at least 2 blank pages for entry and exit stamps.
- The e-Visa is usually valid for a single entry within 90 days of issuance and allows a 30-day stay.
- You must register with the State Migration Service within 15 calendar days of arrival if your stay exceeds 15 days.
- For multiple-entry visas, you’ll need to apply through the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Islamabad.
